Virtual PBX offers local numbers in over 4,000 cities in the United States. If you prefer to have a toll-free number, Virtual PBX offers 855, 866, 877, and 888 toll-free numbers at no additional cost. True 800 toll-free numbers are  available for a onetime $15 setup fee. Technological Requirements

Virtual PBX will work with any high-speed, stable Internet connection such as cable or T1, and recommends allocating 80 to 100 Kbps of bandwidth per concurrent phone call. Most cable modem providers provide a minimum of 1000 Kbps of bandwidth and often provide much more, so no additional Internet service will be required for most users.

Technological Accessories

Virtual PBX sells IP enabled phones from Polycom starting at $99.99 per device. Virtual PBX’s phones come pre-configured and ready to use with your account. Virtual PBX also offers a softphone program for use with your service. Virtual PBX does not offer their own proprietary softphone for use but is compatible with 3rd party programs. A softphone is a computer program for making and receiving phone calls with speakers and a microphone connected to your computer. Virtual PBX also sells analog telephone adapters from Linksys that plug regular phones into your system for $69.99.

Conference Calling, Internet Faxing, and Mobile Apps

Conference calling and Internet faxing are additional services that are often included with a Business VoIP system. Virtual PBX offers conference calling with a maximum of ten people on a call, but for an additional fee capacity can be expanded up to 96 people. Internet fax service with send and receive capabilities also comes with the Business VoIP service. There is no limit to how many faxes you may send and receive, although a maximum of 100 messages may be stored at any one time. Mobile applications are not available with this Business VoIP service.

Customer Service

Virtual PBX’s phone support is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT, but for emergencies there is a support line that is monitored 24/7. Having around the clock customer service is essential for business communications, especially for businesses that depend greatly on communicating with their customers. Virtual PBX also offers email support, FAQs, and tutorials. Its customer support is above average quality and located in the US. Virtual PBX has server redundancies to ensure minimum service interruption in case one of its servers goes offline.
